The Inspiration

Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Sri Sathya Sai Baba was a revered spiritual leader and philanthropist, known for his teachings on universal love, service, and the unity of all religions. His philosophy emphasised the principles of love, peace, truth, right conduct, and non-violence, encapsulated in the phrase “Love All, Serve All.”
He established numerous educational institutions, hospitals, and social welfare projects, providing free education, healthcare, and drinking water to millions. Driven by the belief that service to humanity is service to God, we have been striving to engage in selfless service to uplift the needy. The Sai Aarogya initiative continues this legacy by delivering free, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare services to those in need.

History
Sai Aarogya Hospital – Bapatla
The healthcare journey at Kajipalem Village, Bapatla District, began with a 20-bed hospital operated by a group of NRI philanthropists under the name Aravinda Ashramam. Despite its early success, the hospital encountered challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, including a shortage of doctors and resources, which led to a decline in healthcare services.
In August 2023, the Aravinda Ashramam team approached the Sri Sathya Sai Sujala Sravanthi Trust for collaboration to rejuvenate healthcare in the region. This partnership, under the aegis of the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission, established a Sai Swasthya Wellness Centre in October 2023 to provide immediate healthcare support.
The Sai Aarogya Hospital in Bapatla represents a significant expansion of this effort, with preparations for the new facility commencing in January 2024. Inaugurated on December 13, 2024, the hospital will operate in collaboration with the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSIMSR) and the Sanjeevani Hospitals, a chain of paediatric cardiac hospitals that are also part of the Mission. This collaborative approach exemplifies the Mission’s holistic vision of providing free, high-quality healthcare to underserved communities, ensuring well-being for all.
